SPEED THRILLS BUT KILLS

Yes you might have heard this so many times even I did, but today has been a day which has really taught me the importance of this sentence. The day started at 5 in the morning with a phone call that the bus that my parents are traveling met an accident. Gosh I was immediately worried for them but got respite in sometime that they escaped without even a small scratch .I thank the Gods that I pray daily for this. The day progressed ahead and on work as usual I had to travel on the National Highway -5 ,the same road that I daily travel to and fro ,the same road that I see day in day out as my house is close to the national highway. But today I didn’t find it as amusing as it used to daily, I didn’t find it as proud to be of as I ever used to be……….reason I have seen two people dieing in front of my eyes when an auto they were traveling in was dashed by a lorry . It all happened in a split second ( life changes in a second- the new docomo ad tag is so true ) and there ahead of my vehicle on the road were lying two dead bodies and the whole road was bloodshed ,my heart cried for them …..although I don’t have any idea on who the two victims were, it was a real sad incident that I witnessed and it was reeling in my mind the whole day today.

I request all my friends and people whom I know or who ever reads this blog to please be slow on your vehicles and never risk your life for anything. I prayed to GOD to take care of my friends who daily go on bike to work, who travel in heavy traffics than I do ,for whom I CARE.

Ideal Man

An ideal man for a woman makes you realize you are beautiful. He makes you realize how special you are for him. He guides you like your father when you need him, he soothes you like your brother when you are tired,he supports you completely and truly at all instances.If you are angry on him,he would anything just to see a smile on your face.He makes you realize you are capable ,self-sufficient and succesful.

Above all he makes you realize you are an ideal woman for him........!!

YEH MERA INDIA !!

I will tell you a story. It is the story of a big scientist from America who never used to believe in GOD. One day he came to know that people in INDIA believe in GOD a lot.

So he decided to come to INDIA, visited a lot many places in INDIA and when he returned back to America he straight away went to the church and fell on the feet of Lord Jesus and started praying.

All the people around were amazed by this and started thinking on what happened to the scientist and they were wondering whether he met GOD in INDIA or what. When he came out everyone started asking him on what has happened.

He said ‘NO NO I haven’t met any GOD in INDIA, but I have seen the country very closely and observed a lot many things. INDIA is a very peculiar country. It doesn’t have a single common language which is known to all across the country. There the HINDUS hate the MUSLIM and the Muslims hate the HINDUS. People of the upper caste hate the people from lower caste. People in the city hate people from the village and even I have observed that people in the cars hate people in the autos. There is so much of hatred filled all over the country but still the country is up and running. It is doing a lot of progress. Tell me with so much dissimilarities and stuff if INDIA is progressing this can only be done by GOD, not by a human. This has made me believe that GOD is there .

This is the essence of INDIA ……and am proud to be an INDIAN.

BEING GOOD........!!

My friend Thousif raza has recently written a blog on Good guys always finish last HERE

It has just reminded me a small short story which my mom used to tell me from when I was a kid. I would like to share that small story with all my readers.

There was once a Rushi doing tapasya in a forest. One fine day in the morning when he went to the nearby pond to have his bath along with his sishya ,he found a scorpion fluttering in the water to survive getting drowned .He felt pity on the poor scorpion and thought of helping it and took a leaf nearby and slowly placed it beneath the scorpion and tried lifting it to safety, once the scorpion reached onto the leaf it tried to bite the hand of the Rushi ,so the Rushi in the process of saving himself left the leaf and the scorpion fell back into the water. The rushi hasn’t given up and again tried the same and when he has lifted the scorpion above the water it again tried to bite his hand and same happened as earlier it again fell back into the water. So the sishya who was with him asked him to abort his saviour act and leave the scorpion to its plight.

But the rushi didn’t heed to his sishya and continued helping the scorpion . After a few more trials somehow the rushi managed to pull the scorpion to safety. The sishya was confused on why the rushi was so stubborn in helping the scorpion and asked the same to him.

For this the rushi started saying like this : “Sishya , scorpion is natured to bite when something comes close to it ,God made it like that and it is doing justification to its nature. It doesn’t have the brain or knowledge to understand what is good and what is bad for it. I am a rushi doing tapasya and I am sure on what is right and what is wrong ,and I always want to do good and be good…..when a animal like it is so stubborn on sticking to its quality, why should I change my quality of being Good for it ? Never change your character of being good for someone elses sake or due to circumstances as being good and doing good is divine.”

This has always been an inspiring story to me and whenever I feel angry on someone who has done bad to me or getting carried away due to circumstances I remember this story.

Coming back to Thousif’s point on being ignored or neglected or not getting the same preference from someone when you are so good and true towards them, remember one thing ……….we are giving care ,if they neglect us and in the process loose us,its always their loss and not ours ,also we are not getting any care in return nor expecting it so we will never be on the loosing end…..so chill dearJ
